A touch and light-controlled noise synthesiser.

A three-position switch defines the instrument’s behaviour:

1. Light + touch
2. Touch
3. Touch + fixed noise

Powered by a standard 2.1/5.5.mm centre negative 500mA 9VDC power supply, as commonly used with guitar pedals.

HRINENDE uses touch circuits copied from EALDNES, a larger synthesiser I recently built from discarded and leftover electronic components.

As the touch points are an open circuit, the output will vary depending on what you plug it into; well-buffered and grounded pedal enclosures may result in quieter and less noisy results.
